Clinical Assistant Professor Small Animal Surgery
College of Veterinary Medicine - University of Florida

Dr. Rachel Williams is currently a clinical assistant professor in small animal soft tissue surgery at the University of Florida. She graduated from the Western University of Health Sciences in 2017 before completing a rotating internship at the Angell Animal Medical Center in 2018.

Dr. Williams completed her small animal surgery residency at the University of Pennsylvania in 2021 and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2022.

Her clinical and research interests include urinary surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and reconstructive surgery.

Stacy Binstock

DVM, DACVIM (Oncology)

Dr. Stacy Binstock is a board-certified veterinary oncologist with more than two decades of experience helping pets and their families navigate a cancer diagnosis. She enjoys sharing practical, real-world approaches to oncology that help veterinarians feel more confident and comfortable managing cancer patients in everyday practice. Her focus in the clinic is to provide a practical, compassionate approach to oncology and to translate complex cancer care into a clear, actionable treatment plans for both pet owners and veterinary teams.

Known for her energetic and interactive lectures, Dr. Binstock combines evidence-based medicine with case-based discussions, clinical pearls, and audience participation to make oncology both approachable and applicable. Her areas of interest include strengthening collaboration between specialists and general practitioners and improving quality of life for pets with cancer.

When she is not seeing patients or speaking at veterinary conferences, Dr. Binstock enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and riding horses.

To support our contracted room block and maintain discounted group rates, conference registration is intended for guests staying at the host property. Attendees planning to stay elsewhere are welcome but should contact us prior to registering.

After registering for the conference, guests will be provided an exclusive link to book lodging at Grotto Bay. Vet Voyager rates at Grotto Bay start at 30% off the going market rate, giving you a little extra bang for your buck and an excuse to add a couple more nights to your stay, splurge on dining, or treat the kiddos to an exciting local activity.

Vet Voyagers has secured a guaranteed resort rate of $516 / night valid from 10-14 August, 2027, based on single or double occupancy in an ocean view room. Guests are welcome to book additional nights pre and/or post retreat at the same rate, however lodging outside 10-14 Aug is pending resort availability. We encourage you to register and book early to maximize your stay on the island!

This rate does not include meals, 11.75% tax, and $13 per person per day gratuity. Additional person fee for a 3rd or 4th adult in the room is $60 per adult / per day. Children 0-17 stay free with adults but children 4-17 will be charged the nightly gratuity of $13 only.

After booking with Vet Voyagers you will receive a booking code to contact the resort directly to secure your stay. Grotto Bay requires a 2 night deposit for reservations.

Grotto Bay Cancellation Policy

Hotel cancellations within 14 days of arrival will be subject to a two night cancellation charge.
